Is Real Simple Clean Cruelty Free?

Yes, Real Simple Clean is cruelty free.

Real Simple Clean cleaning products were developed by Real Simple Magazine and Lab-Clean Inc. Their collection includes hand soaps, dish soaps, stain removers, surface cleaners, and wrinkle release treatments. Most of their products are made from plant-derived ingredients, with the entire line being cruelty free and containing phenoxyethanol (an organic compound).

Real Simple Clean states that their products are safe for kids and pets. They share, “Real Simple cleaning products are totally vegan and cruelty-free. They have never been tested on any furry friends.” Since 2017, the Leaping Bunny program has certified that they do not test their ingredients, formulations, and final products on animals. However, the third party does not indicate if the brand carries 100% vegan products. Cruelty Free Kitty also states that “Real Simple Clean is cruelty-free but not 100% vegan, meaning that some of their products contain animal-derived ingredients.”
