Is Bon Ami Cruelty Free?

Yes, Bon Ami is cruelty free.

Helping clean homes since 1886, Bon Ami is an American brand that sells cleaning products in powder form. Their gentle, non-scratching cleansers may be used on hard surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen. They pride themselves in having products that do not contain chlorine bleach, perfume, and dye.

On its FAQs page, Bon Ami reveals its stance on animal testing: “Neither of the current Bon Ami products have been tested on animals.

Bon Ami Powder Cleanser does not contain any animal-derived ingredients.

Bon Ami 1886 Original Formula Cleaning Powder is the original 130 year old blend of tallow soap and feldspar, and might not be considered vegan or ‘cruelty-free’ since tallow is a product derived from animals.”

Bon Ami received its cruelty-free accreditation from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ global program, Beauty Without Bunnies.
